Find out witch one is causing the problem.If the laptop works fine with both modules installed into the slot A, but freezes with both modules installed into the slot B, apparently you have a problem with the slot itself.If the laptop works fine with one module in both slots but freezes with the other module in both slots, apparently the second memory module is bad and has to be replaced.
