Thank you for purchasing the Fuji Electric PXZ controller. All of these controllers are PID Autotune controllers that employ Fuji Electric's patented fuzzy logic algorithms. It is a fully programmable temperature/process controller incorporating many user-friendly features. 4 2-2 Basic operation ①Condition at power ON ②Selection of parameter Basic operation of PXZ is shown below. When PXZ4 (1 stage display type) is used, PV/SV is displayed on the one stage display. In this case, PV/SV display is selected by pressing SELand PV/SV keys. The Fuji Electric PXG temperature controller has a password function which helps the user protect settings and avoid wrong operation. A variety of functions extend the possibilities of the PXG controllers including a guaranteed soak function, a soft start function, and a ramp setpoint function.

- . the ambient temperature may reach beyond the range of -10 to 50°C (32 to 122°F) while in operation. the ambient humidity may reach higher than 90% RH while in oper-ation. a change in the ambient temperature is so rapid as to cause con-densation. corrosive gases (sulfide and ammonia gas, in particular) or com-bustible gases are emitted.
- Perature controller enables On-Off control, PID control or 8-step ramp/soak function, using thermocouple, resistance bulb or DC1 to 5V signal as input. Though small-sized, it can be equipped with a variety of functions. PID with auto-tuning, PID self-tuning and fuzzy control.
- The Fuji PXR3 temperature controller is an advanced, 1/32 DIN temperature and process controller. Designed for a wide range of applications, the PXR4 not only includes auto-tuning and fuzzy control, but also features self-tuning - an innovation in the control field.
The Fuji PXR3 temperature controller is an advanced, 1/32 DIN temperature and process controller. Designed for a wide range of applications, the PXR4 not only includes auto-tuning and fuzzy control, but also features self-tuning - an innovation in the control field. Self-tuning automatically re-tunes the controller under certain conditions, without the need to revert to auto-tuning.
The PXR3 accepts process and temperature inputs and offers a choice of three kinds of outputs to meet a wide variety of needs in the process industries. Single or dual outputs include relay, SSR driver, or 4-20mA. The controller's standard 8-segment ramp/soak feature has been expanded to include two patterns that can be linked to create a 16-step profile.
One of the most impressive features of the PXR3 is the large LED display. The faceplate, designed for NEMA 4X (IP66 equivalent) is watertight and corrosion-resistant. The easy-to-use 3-button keypad makes programming quick and easy. The screw-terminal on the back further reduces the cost by eliminating the need for sockets.
Remote monitoring of up to 31 PXR series controllers at a time is possible with the RS485 option that uses the industry-standard Modbus protocol. The communications option comes with free Windows-based software, PXR-LITE. The software allows you to program PXR series controllers from the PC and view real-time data and trend graph while logging the data on to a text file.
